Approx. 10% of our company is women - I would love to see more opportunities created for young women to join the construction industry!

I think the construction industry is mostly seen as a "man's" world but women are definetly becoming more interested in the field. I think if women realize the success they can have in the field, more will become interested.

I've only been with the company/in the industry for a few months, so I can't say how things have changed over time. I can say that there are women in top leadership roles at our organization.

Some of the most important skills I have learned came from women in positions of authority. I'm grateful to have had these wonderful mentors.

I'm fortunate to work for an employer who values women's input. The company is not immune to problems but they are allies and they are trending in the right direction.

There are certainly more women in the industry and I encourage them to continue to seek new opportunities as they arise.

We hired a female Asst PM a year ago and she has surpassed our other male APMs and we are looking at promoting her to PM later this year. Her organizational skills and management skills just surpass everyone. We have her sharing her insights with the others on their jobs. It is great to find a strong female and to get her to lead others.
