My perspective is there is no difference between a man and a woman doing a job; it comes down to their capabilities, experience and ... haha just kidding. There are changes being made with women in the construction business. From field employees to the GMs who run that company, it is great seeing women make those advances.

I'm looking forward to a future where there are no barriers based on gender for construction

I'm a woman in construction but in the office environment which I think you see pretty regularly but getting women out in the field requires both the women to be motivated to do this physical labor and the hiring people to look past what may be typical of the construction industry and give a woman a chance for her to prove that she can do the job just as well as any man. In my current place of work I've only ever seen one woman be hired for job site work and unfortunately she isn't with the company any longer. I'm hoping I get to see more of this change in the future.
