In recent years, there have been significant strides made in the construction industry to help women thrive. While the industry has traditionally been male-dominated, many organizations are now making a concerted effort to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce. At my organization, we have implemented various programs and initiatives to support women in construction. We offer mentorship programs and training opportunities to help women build their skills and advance in their careers. We also have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination and harassment, and we actively promote a culture of respect and inclusivity. These efforts have paid off, as we have seen more women join our organization and excel in their roles. We have also seen an increase in the number of women pursuing careers in construction, which is a positive trend for the industry as a whole. However, there is still work to be done to attract more women to the industry. One of the biggest challenges is changing the perception that construction is a "man's job." This requires targeted outreach and education to young women about the many opportunities available in the field. Personally, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that women can have in construction. Their unique perspectives and skills are essential to building successful projects and creating a more diverse and innovative industry. The strides that have been made to support women in construction are encouraging, but there is still more work to be done. By continuing to promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity, and by actively recruiting and supporting women in the industry, we can help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in construction.

It's amazing to see how much acceptable it has become to have women working in the field and not just in the office. I remember being impressed when I found out we had a female working in the field and that was 20 years ago.

I think it is still a struggle for women in construction. The majority of people in leadership positions are male. It is important for women to break the glass ceiling and get into these seats!

Diversity in a organization is often important as it can lead to a variety of ideas on how to approach a given task, which usually benefits said organization in the long run.

I started in the construction industry 30+ years ago. I'm happy that women are being recognized more for their contributions and being promoted because they deserve it.

I have seen a lot of growth in respecting woman for their knowledge and skills, but unfortunately I have seen/worked with companies where it's still the old boys club. Those companies have lost a lot of talented woman and hopefully someday they will see that. The newer generation doesn't take the same BS that a lot of women used to have to take just to earn a pay check and I have seen that become a positive in some companies to make changes and become a better work place and diverse company overall. A lot of improvement has happened, but we still have some work to do to get everyone on an even playing field.
