Women in Construction 2024

Women in Construction Week 2024 is just getting started and we'd love to hear your thoughts on this important topic!     I am seeing a lot more woman in construction! Woman have a unique perspective and can be a great asset in the constriction community

    More women are entering the trade fields. I think with the use of new technology, it makes easier to attract women to the industry.

    There are a lot more women in leadership positions at our company which has created more advocacy throughout the company.

    We have seen more women in the field now that we have added a low voltage electrical division. I look for that to continue to grow. We just promoted a female Site Safety Manager to a Regional Safety Manager and a Project Manager to Branch Manager at my local office, both of them being the first females in those role. Our corporate office has our first female CFO, which I am SUPER proud and excited for her. Our company is definitely moving in the right direction on both the Corporate and Local level.

    I am not in the field but noticed a lot more women are which I have such an admiration for them.

    I'm fortunate to work for a company that values DEI. We have women working in all aspects of the company from the boardroom and management to the office and field. Women's pay is also more equitable overall in this industry

    Just seeing more and more women joining in the HVAC world, with the work we do. Its inspiring to see more women join a male dominated industry.
