One thing I was actually just discussing in the last few days is the number of applications for employment from women candidates. We are definitely seeing more than in previous years!

The more women that are hired, the more they are able to grow within their trade.

We're a small company, but two of our five owners are women, and I'm starting to see more women applying to our field laborer/operator positions than I did when I first started here.

From when I started to now I have seen an increase of women hires not just in the office but in the field as well.

We haven't seen an uptick for women in the field yet, but are seeing more women in the design and estimating departments!

Our Company has an employee resource group called BuildHer to support and encourage the women that do work here. We do different events every quarter, and all are welcome to join. We are hoping to really encourage the women in the field to get involved in 2024.

My company has one woman plumber. It would be great to have more. I think the Union can do more to recruit women.
