There are great opportunities in the construction industry! More women should be encouraged to join the industry and take advantage of those opportunities!

The construction industry has been experiencing a shortage in qualified workers for years now. Making as many people aware of the opportunities this industry provides and as welcoming as possible to all people is a foundational principal for sustaining our workforce.

I have only been in this industry for a year. But I feel very respected by my co workers and I am so happy to see more women getting into this industry.

I love to see over the last couple years the percentage of women working in the construction world grow. I think women tend to think construction is just job site dirty work and its not. There are alot of supporting rolls needed to make a construction project happen.
