As we continue forward, let's ensure our mission statements reflect our commitment to lowering emissions, reducing waste, and building systems that nurture a cleaner ecosystem. We're all in this together. How do you think long-term environmental health will directly influence future profitability?

In terms of profitability, people who want greener or more efficient things will have to pay a premium for better materials, equipment, etc., until the new normal is just more efficient. But it all takes money to keep it maintained - HVAC systems need filters, roadwork needs repaired, materials wear down, it will all go hand in hand and will get better as we learn new processes.

The world (outside of CHINA!) is going to continue to want their infrastructure cleaner and greener, so we're going to have to adapt.

I see in the not so distant future sustainability and profitability will go hand in hand. Working towards being more environmentally conscious is necessary.

Finding more ways to be greener is the way of the future. It might be costly at first, but will pay off in the long run as more more green initiatives/movements are created.

I echo this sentiment. I think a solid tech foundation will allow for data pulls that we wouldn't otherwise be able to track.

I believe that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand but I think the key is staying up to date with technology with benefit both.

I agree that sustainability and profitability can co-exist.

I believe environmental health can be achieved, however I also believe we need to look at the entire picture, not just the one sided benefit. We should look beyond the outward visible benefit and truly look at the entire process to reach that benefit and what harm is done to reach that end. If we truly look at ever step in the processes, then we can begin to progress forward.

We are using BI to find and correct inefficiencies. This reduction in equipment hours will reduce our carbon footprint while improving the bottom line. We're also going paperless with some processes.

We can all make a big difference by making little changes here and there to become a little more sustainable and become more profitable.
