What is "Batch Size" as seen when creating a WO or Inspection in Respond 5.8?

what is "batch size" as seen when creating a WO or Inspection in Respond 5.8? See attached image for reference.

    Hello Jeff. I am investigating this right now. I don't see any documentation on it and it is not something I have even seen before either. I'll get back to you on this.

    Jeff. This field is just a process control. IF you are trying to create more than 10 activities at once, it will process them 10 at a time. We have had a few reports of clients having trouble creating larger numbers of activities at the same time. By utilizing batch processing, we will not overload the system creating dozens of activities at once.

    If I use STYLE to hide this option, will it remain the default 10? Is that OK?
