We are setting up pre-production environments so that we can have a group of 'superusers' to handle some of the more technical client facing requests. As part of this, we plan to set up a regularly scheduled SQL refresh job to:

1. Back up production.
2. Restore the backup to Development and/or Sandbox environment, refreshing the data in those environments.
3. Run a post refresh script to do the following:

·         Set appropriate user app licenses, permissions, group memberships, for 'SuperUsers'. 

·         Set GIS Service Definitions - includes Sandbox map services and web map.

·         Set GIs Service Layers - mapped to Sandbox map service layers.

Does any one use such scripts? Does ESRI have canned refresh scripts that we could use as a 'springboard' to customize for our own purpose?

If not, can someone kindly detail which tables should be updated to achieve such results.
