Cityworks iOS mobile 12 Unable to create activity from selected assets, what's the formula for WFS/Webmap set up on Esri side and how should the GIS service resource and Service definition be configured?

The assets are checked as selectable

I have one web map for mobile and one for desktop because we utilize layer grouping for our desktop webmap while mobile will not work with layer groupings. Still, I an select assets in desktop and add from the map to create work orders and that works fine and well. Not sure why mobile will allow me to select the asset but returns the message of "not configured" as I have asset groups and layers all added in the asset groups section of admin. Please advise I'm really stumped!

    Hi Cesar,

This might be best to submit as a support case so they can help diagnose your issue. In the meantime, here are some things to look for:

-Asset Type is missing an Asset Alias

    - Separate map services in the service definition or web map use the same layer name

    - Invalid security on the Service Resource

    - Corrupted web map

    - WMS service in use in Mobile outside of web map

    Thanks,

    Shanae

    Hi Cesar,

Were you able to find a solution to this issue?

We are having the same issue, and are unsure how to fix it.

    Thanks!

@brianna higley?  Yes I was able to root out the cause of this. In our case the issues was that when a web map is created in AGOL from a Hosted Feature Layer it does one giant grouping for all layers that fall under the Feature Layer. in my attachment here I show that grouping, its sneaky because It doesn't appear to be a group because most groups are user created not system created so you need to manually ungroup all layers that fall under it. Once the layers are ungrouped Cityworks mobile can read them. We are moving to unity and hoping that grouped assets are supported in Unity Mobile as they are not supported at all in CW mobile.
