There seems to be an issue with mechanical equipments such as fans, pumps, etc which don't have an electrical connection attached to the family. We expect a solution for this since this is not BIM design by all means !

    First of all, my apologies for the late response.

     

    Regarding your question:

    Currently no mechanical family is supplied with an electrical connector. I agree that this should be implemented. However, for now, it is not difficult to add it yourself. With Edit family you can go to the Create tab and choose for Electrical Connector. Make sure you choose the right category for you electrical connector before placing it.
