Duct Legend - Velocity range

Hello,

A duct accessory (VAV) is causing malfunction of duct legend (See Duct Legend with and without attachments )

Another situation when using same VAV, the legend is working correctly (See Duct Legend correctly functioning attachment)

 

How can I solve this issue?

    Useally the VAV units are causing issues when applied in the return air system. The first thing to do is to check if revit caclulates the flow correctly. If the flow is not correct you'll have to edit the VAV family to make it work in your return system. To do this use "Edit family" and change the connector properties (change the flow direction).

    niet een standaard​ "goede" oplossing is: gewoon kanaal doortrekken, en de VAV eroverheen plaatsten. Let op: niet aansluiten.
